Check Your Mail Every Day
If you voted by mail or Ballot drop-off, there's always a small chance of a ballot processing problem. If so, during this period you will get a letter in the U.S. Mail  from the Santa Clara County Registrar of Voters (ROV) asking you to respond quickly with a form.
Answer it,  or your ballot probably will NOT be counted!
It's explained on the ROV website under the heading:
"Unsigned Identification Envelope Statement and Signature Verification Statement Forms."
