Looking for a last minute gift for a friend or family member?

 We have an idea for you. 

 Gift them a League of Women Voters membership!! For as low as $20, you can introduce someone (16+) to the League to inspire them to be more involved and engaged in Defending Democracy and Empowering Voters, as you have done yourself!

Step-by-step instructions:

1. Log into the portal (https://portal.lwv.org/).  You will need the gift recipient's name, address, phone, and email address. 
2.  Non-members can give a gift membership too!  Go to (https://portal.lwv.org/), enter your email address to get a 6-digit code to log in, fill in your information and click Gift on the next page and follow the rest of the steps below.
3.  Click Gift in the Grow Our Community box to the right of your membership card.
4.  Fill out the form. If you are renewing a current member, please ensure that the email address you enter for them is the one they already use for their League membership (you are most welcome to check with our Membership Director on this--Membership@lwvcs.org).
5.  Select the state for the League of interest.
6.  Select the local League. 
7.  Fill in the dues amount you wish to pay (minimum $20).
8.  Click Next. Verify the total amount is the membership dues amount you wish to pay.
9.  Decide if you’d like to give an Additional Contribution to the League as well. This contribution will all go to the local league.  League of Women Voters of Cupertino Sunnyvale is a 501 (c)(3), hence, if you choose us for the gift membership, your donation is tax deductible as allowed by law. 
10.  Choose payment methods and make payment.
11.  Gift giver will get an acknowledgement e-mail from Membership@lwv.org and Gift recipient will get a welcome email from noreply@lwv.org
