LWV Forums for the Cupertino & Sunnyvale areas:

2026 Midterm Election

Voting is October 5 through November 3, 2026

Who would hire an employee without interviewing them first?
Candidates running for public office are applying for a job. Forums are like job interviews, and the voters are the ones doing the hiring.

The League of Women Voters has a long history of conducting candidate and measure forums. We work to provide a non-partisan platform for voters to learn about who and what will be on their ballot.

To make our Forums more accessible we have moved to an online format, which is available live via Zoom and then uploaded
to our YouTube channel and accessible afterwards on YouTube via the links below.

A Note about Candidate Forums:

All candidates in local races affecting Sunnyvale and/or Cupertino were invited to participate in LWV Candidate Forums.

However, a Candidate Forum was not held for every race.
The non-partisan rules of the League of Women Voters require that a Forum may be held only if:

At least two candidates are running for the office (several races were unopposed)
AND
At least two candidates accept and are present at the Forum
