New Online LWVUS Legal Center Opens

New Online LWVUS Legal Center Opens

In September 2022, the U.S. National League of Women Voters launched a new section of their website, the LWVUS Legal Center.

Litigation is a major part of the League’s work to empower voters and defend democracy and civil rights. The Legal Center showcases the important work LWV is doing in courts across the country, listing important historic and active cases on our docket, and will continue to update  center with legal work as it happens.

In the Legal Center, users can sort cases by status, state, and topic area, and use the search bar to find cases by name. One of the cases you can find in the Legal Center is League of Women Voters of Cupertino-Sunnyvale v. City of Cupertino.
