To our Friends and Supporters of the League of Women Voters of Cupertino-Sunnyvale (LWVCS),

While our all-volunteer local organization functions totally through thousands of hours of effort by our members, it still takes money to cover our costs of delivering on our mission.

We ask non-members in our community, as well as members of our League, to help us financially as we continue our mission of empowering voters and defending democracy.  

The dues paid by our members are shared with the LWV National, California State, and County Leagues. The share of dues retained by LWVCS is less than 30%. 
100% of donations to LWVCS funds, both General and Educational, are retained by LWVCS.

Our work is important, both during and between major election years. We inform voters about the issues, help them learn impartially about candidates, and make sure that people are able to register to vote and get their votes in to be counted. 

That’s why we are asking you to donate today.
